Problem

An enterprise-scale application needed reliable real-time updates flowing across services.

Approach

Designed backend features on Socket.IO paired with PostgreSQL's native notification system for pub/sub messaging, then authored UML diagrams and architectural documentation so the contracts were clear to the wider team. Automated recurring database processes along the way.

Impact

Improved operational efficiency and left the team with durable documentation for a system that had previously lived only in code.
