About
SHEET G-000 / PROFILEI'm a backend-leaning full-stack engineer who has spent the last ten years turning business requirements into systems that actually hold up — APIs that don't fall over, databases that stay fast as they grow, and deployments that survive contact with real users.
Most of that decade has been backend and infrastructure work: designing services, optimizing queries, automating the database processes that shouldn't need a human, and keeping servers healthy across AWS and DigitalOcean. At Cartrack I built a real-time pub/sub notification system on Socket.IO and PostgreSQL, and documented it properly with UML so the next engineer wasn't guessing.
I've also spent three-plus years leading — as a Team Lead mentoring developers through code review, and for close to a year as a Department Head coordinating projects and talking directly to clients and stakeholders. That combination is what I bring to a team: someone comfortable in the architecture conversation and the client call, who still ships code in between.
